A licensed attorney, Doug spent two-thirds of his career dealing in the law as a prosecuting attorney, civil litigator and corporate attorney. Recently he was the CEO for Command7, a medium-sized company with $35 million in revenues. During his four years as CEO of Command7, Doug managed 100 corporate employees that oversaw 3,000 teams of people across the United States. Through his leadership he more than doubled operational efficiency and increased sales by 300%, profits by 400%, and customer satisfaction/retention to higher than 90%.
As a business litigation attorney, Doug led the negotiations, drafting, review and litigation of multimillion-dollar contracts. He also handled construction, management, license, business formation and dissolution, and employment matters. While an Administrator at Weber State University, Doug taught business law and negotiation courses. He also drafted complex legislation and acted as Administrative Law Judge for Utah Division of Consumer Affairs. Doug earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Weber State College and his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University.
